What do you really need in order to live comfortably?  How do you live day to day and what would you consider essential versus a luxury? SKA has worked with Sustainafest and local schools on the design and construction of Tiny Houses. Additionally, SKA staff have worked with local schools to provide classroom curricula and hands-on support.

A green home (tiny or not so tiny) should be limited to what a person really needs to be comfortable.  For example, a home with a 6 car garage or a movie theater isn’t green just because it is painted with low VOC paint.  That being said, everyone lives differently has differing points of view to what is really essential for comfort.  One person may really need a quiet room to escape to while others may be fine living in the middle of chaos and need an extra room.
