The United States Naval Academy has engaged SKA to study opportunities for revitalizing an area of the campus that has been underutilized, having been taken over primarily for back-of house services. The area is between Historic Bancroft and MacDonough Halls. SKA has been working with the USNA to develop the concept of a student services center incorporating a renovated Midshipmen Store, a Coffee Shop/Internet Café, Credit Union, and Mail Center. The project totaling approximately 60,000 SF also incorporates site improvements including reconfigured parking, hardscape, a monumental stair, fountains, and a new entrance to the Midshipmen Store.
